Sennheiser HD800 - June 3, 2009
APureSound is proud to announce the first available upgrade cable for the Sennheiser HD800 headphones. We have spent quite some time engineering and testing the cable for these amazing headphones and now it is available for everyone. As we all know these are considered top tier headphones, but we were very disappointed to find these headphones using 32 gauge wires among other poor materials in the stock cable. With these headphones the weakest link without a doubt is the stock cable. Once we tested them using our upgrade V3 cable they truly became top tier headphones. We will offer the HD800 connectors available for DIY use once we receive our 2nd batch of connectors so if you are interested in making your own DIY cable keep an eye out on our website. We will be adding a DIY page where you will be able to order all sorts of connectors. We will also be offering the service of reterminating stock cables for your headphones. More information will be available soon.
Many Updates - March 31, 2009
There are a lot of new and exciting news for us to share so please read everything below.
We are updating the image galleries throughout the site. The V3 page is now finished and the other pages will be finished this week. You will notice that the images load faster and are combined in a much nicer group making it easier to navigate through the images. If you find any errors please email us about it!
We would like to say that here at APureSound we have been working very hard on a lot of new and great products. The current portable cable has been discontinued and is being replaced with the all new mini V3 cable which is based on the best full size upgrade cable available. We took the V3 cable and made it thinner, softer, and more flexible for the ultimate portable cable. A set release date is not yet available, but there will be a pre-order available where we will offer a discounted introductory price. We will have more information on this very soon. Don't forget to check out the For Sale section for great deals on APureSound products. We will be adding a lot of new cables in that section this week and prices will be very low.
As of today there are no more Paypal fee's on orders at APureSound. Also, we have dropped prices on many Furutech connectors to keep costs as low as possible for our customers.
We have received a new MSRP pricing on the Cardas HD connectors and they are now $15/set. You can also order them as APureSound modded connectors where we will mod the connector to make them easier to solder and install onto your DIY cable. They will include some Cardas Quad Eutectic Solder for $25/set.
Sennheiser HD-800 - January 19, 2009
We have been getting a lot of emails about the Sennheiser HD-800 headphones regarding if we plan on releasing an upgrade cable for them and how much it will cost. The answer is yes and the price will be our standard price on the V3 cable plus what ever additional cost the connectors will be. We do not like overcharging our customers on our products so we will continue to keep our prices as low as possible.
APureSound Update - December 31, 2008
The new year is coming up in a few hours and we would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year.
We have been very busy with many new products that will be released in 2009 along with a new service. There have been some delays with filling orders and we are doing out best to get all of the orders done as quickly as possible and try to bring down the build time.
Please don't forget we have 2 pre-made cables still available in our for sale section at a lowered price. There will be more updates in the various section on this site adding and removing some options.
