Discrete Buffer Addon Board.

Features-

--Absolutely TINY. 0.5x0.4 inches.. its about the size of a DIP8 chip.

--Dual CRDs for biasing.. supports Class-A operation

--TO-92 and 1206 for high output current. Can dump .5A without any issues.

--Transistor matching will make for an incredible buffer…

This discrete buffer board was made as a response to the concerns that the buffer chips were not high-quality enough to use.. These are soldered onto the SO-8 pads via the 6 through hole pads. A high-density header is taken, and pins on one side are bent out. This contacts the SOIC pads and that is soldered on. Then the board is lowered onto the headers; and soldered. This ensures that the board will not move and has a solid connection.

The Circuit topology is identical to a Sijosae Discrete Buffer. Normally, it will run in class-AB, but with nearly no crossover distortion.

Currently the board is in pre-beta stage. Please contact me if you’d like to populate a set of buffers.
